However the athlete has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to come to the net and perform assertively, reinforced by an better service.

Medvedev came back from a deficit in the initial set against the challenging opponent, winning 4 of the last five points to take the lead.

The competitors exchanged service breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, attempting for his maiden professional championship, gained dominance to force a final set.

The opponent rescued 4 initial opportunities in a close final set before the Russian secured a break to fifteen to close out the victory.

Appropriately, the winner clinched victory with a rally at the net, with Moutet failing to manage a shot after two hours and 38 minutes.
